Every weekend, a private bus packed with women and children leaves New York City. These are families of convicts serving time in the remote corner of New York state. After adding a contact to their Whatsapp or Messenger, audience members begin to receive messages of the 30hr journey of the bus. The project is part of the VeryVeryVeryShort call, a joint production by Arte and NFB which had its premiere at IDFA documentary film festival in November 2017. Presented by co-director Sara Kolster.
